Security Gate Installation
The Problem: Upon receiving the call from the client, our team of experts quickly attended the site to assess the damage. We made sure to secure any damaged and loose brick work to eliminate any immediate health and safety risks. We carried out emergency repairs to the metal gate set to ensure the loading bay was safe and secure, ensuring there was no disruption to the client's day-to-day operations.
The Solution: Following our initial reactive attendance and make-safe, we provided the client with a comprehensive solution to their loading bay security issue. Our team of experts recommended rebuilding the boundary wall to its original condition in keeping with the garden wall of the neighbouring property. We also installed an upgraded double-height Armco barrier with dig-in posts along the length of the rebuilt section of the wall to provide a more visible and sturdy impact protection solution. In addition, we installed additional hi-vis steel bollards at the opening of the loading bay. Finally, we installed a custom fabricated double leaf galvanised palisade gate set to fully secure the loading bay. This custom installation also included on-site welding alterations to the gates to incorporate a hinged single pedestrian gate into the gate set.
The Result: The client was thrilled with the outcome of the project. We provided them with a functional and secure loading bay to receive multiple HGV deliveries on a daily basis. The additional Armco barriers and hi-vis bollards ensured reduced risk of damage and impact to the gates and the boundary wall of the neighbouring property. Our custom fabricated double leaf hinged palisade security gate set provided the client with complete peace of mind, ensuring their premises were secure and protected at all times. Our in-house engineers quickly installed a made to measure double steel security door to replace the older wooden doors, providing the client with far better security so that this doesn't happen again in the future.
