We recently completed the installation of Altro Stronghold flooring at Miller & Carter, covering the glass wash area, delivery corridor, freezer room, and an adjacent space.

Our flooring team carried out the work over five nights to minimise disruption. The project began with disconnecting and moving the sink, glass wash, and unit before uplifting the existing floor covering, including the section leading into the delivery corridor.

To ensure a durable and long-lasting finish, we applied a degreaser, primed the floor, and used a rapid-set latex self-levelling compound across a maximum of 50m². Once prepared, the new Altro Stronghold flooring was installed with welded joints and a seamless finish to the skirting.

Additional finishing touches included fitting adjustable height threshold strips to doors in the delivery corridor and applying a silicone seal to the skirting boards. As always, we removed all waste and left the site spotless upon completion.
